Ajith's latest picture sends his fans into a tizzy; movie buffs expecting a crucial update on AK 61

After the release of Valimai, there were reports that Ajith will shed close to 20 kgs for his next, which has been tentatively titled AK 61. H Vinoth, who directed the star in his last two outings, is at the helm of the untitled movie, while Boney Kapoor who has bankrolled those two projects, is producing the film.

The pictures of Ajith travelling to Hyderabad went viral last month when a few airport staff managed to click selfies with him. The star was also in the news when he visited a temple in Kerala. Earlier, his stylish pictures from his son's birthday event took the internet by storm, and left his fans thrilled.

Now, fans of Ajith are ecstatic after another photo of him started doing the rounds. He is seen posing for a photo along with his trainer; it looks like the star has shed a few kilos successfully. Needless to say, the star's fans are eagerly looking forward to an update from the movie.

They were quite impatient after the makers of Valimai did not bother to come up with regular updates last year. It took several months for the team to release a promo video of the action thriller. Movie buffs hope that at least this time around, the scenario will be different.

Though an official announcement on the project's cast and crew is awaited, it is heard that the likes of Kavin, Aditi Rao Hydari and Tabu are already on board. Mohanlal is also likely to play a crucial character in the movie which is billed as a heist thriller.

A set of Mount Road in Chennai has been erected at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad recently. The movie is being planned as a theatrical release for Deepavali festival this year.
