The current year has seen Alia Bhatt complete milestone after milestone, both in her professional and personal life. From producing her debut production, Darlings, via her Eternal Sunshine Productions banner, to starring in the highest grossing Hindi film of the year, Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva, Alia’s filmography this year was studded with successful films. The actress also witnessed the start of new chapters in her personal life as well, including her wedding to fellow actor Ranbir Kapoor, and the birth of the couple’s daughter this year. Being a star kid herself, Alia was no stranger to the spotlight, and her daughter has become beloved to fans already. The actress recently opened up about what was going through her head when it comes to raising her daughter in the spotlight.
In an interview with Marie Claire, conducted before the birth of Alia’s daughter, the actress opened up about her reservations about the same. “I am a little concerned about bringing up a child in the public eye. I talk about it with my friends, with my family, and my husband a lot”, she said.
The actress went on to say that she did not want there to be any kind of intrusion into the life of her child or their privacy. She said that although she herself had chosen this path, her child may not feel the same way about it when they grow up. That was something Alia was very protective about, she said.
Back in June this year, Alia had announced the news that she was pregnant with her first child, via a post on her official Instagram handle. The actress welcomed her first child on November 6 this year.
On the work front, Alia will next be seen in the Karan Johar directorial, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which also stars Ranveer Singh. The actress will also make her Hollywood debut in Gal Gadot’s Heart of Stone.
