Alia Bhatt has multiple promising projects in the pipeline like Brahmastra and her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone, which has Gal Gadot in the lead. The actress recently took to social media and shared a selfie of herself post work at the set of the Tom Harper directorial.
Alia posted the selfie of her at rest on Instagram Stories and wrote, “Another GREAT day on Heart Of Stone – so so so tired – but so so so happy with all the love for our d Brahmastra …makes all the aches and pains go away…love you alllll (sic)!”
Heart of Stone is an espionage thriller that also stars Jamie Dornan in a leading role. Harper, known for movies like The Aeronauts and Wild Rose, is directing from a screenplay written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder.
The movie will have its premiere on Netflix, which bought its worldwide streaming rights from Skydance in January this year. This is one of the newest collaborations between the banner and the streamer after The Old Guard, 6 Underground and The Adam Project, according to Variety.

The plot details of the movie have been kept strictly under wraps but it is to be noted that Alia is no stranger to espionage thrillers. She played Sehmat Khan, an undercover RAW agent who infiltrates into an influential Pakistani military family in Meghna Gulzar's Raazi, a role she was widely appreciated for.
Meanwhile, Brahmastra is a fantasy drama that boasts of a star studded cast. Besides Alia, the movie has Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy, and even Shah Rukh Khan in an extended cameo appearance.
The movie’s trailer was released recently and since then has been a subject of discussion and dissection. Many have hoped that after back to back flops backed by big names, Brahmastra will provide a much-needed relief to Bollywood following the pandemic-induced lull. It’s set to hit cinemas on September 9.
Besides these two projects, Alia’s other movies are Darlings, which she is co-producing with Shah Rukh, and Jee Le Zara, a road tr ip drama in which she will share screen space with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
