Anil Kapoor is currently awaiting the release of his eagerly-awaited film, Animal, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna. Earlier today, the Mr India actor uploaded an adorable picture with his grandson, Sonam Kapoor's son, Vayu.

Sonam Kapoor and her husband, Anand Ahuja, welcomed their son Vayu in 2022. And Anil revealed in his latest social media post that he misses Vayu. He also uploaded a picture of himself with his grandson. Little Vayu can be seen in the cute pictures playfully grabbing and wearing his grandfather's black hat. Anil says his grandson looks even better than he does wearing the hat.

Anil is seen holding baby Vayu in the second picture, with Sonam looking lovingly at her father and son. Three generations of the Kapoor family can be seen in the picture sharing a heartfelt moment.

Anil posted the photos to his Instagram account this afternoon (November 22), with the caption, “No contest. Vayu wears it better! #BossBaby #MissingVayu.” Sonam took to the comment section and wrote, "Vayu misses you... NaaaaNaaaa ! HaTT !"

On May 8, 2018, Sonam and Anand exchanged vows in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony.

Anil Kapoor will be next seen in the film Animal. Also starring in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film are Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimri, Rashmika Mandanna, and Ranbir Kapoor. All the characters' turbulent relationships are explored in the gangster drama, and in the end, the protagonist basically turns into an animal.

Anil also has Fighter in his kitty. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, it is touted to be India’s first aerial action franchise. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan.

Sonam Kapoor's projects

On the professional front, Sonam Kapoor was last seen in director Shome Makhija's movie 'Blind', which also had notable performances by Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey. Sonam made her acting comeback with the movie post her maternity break. The film debuted on the JioCinema.
