Anupamaa Update June 8th: Time for the BIG REVEAL between Anuj and Gurumaa Mati Devi?

The day starts off with Anuj saving Guru Maa Malti Devi from being pricked by a nail on the wedding hall. This is followed by Anupamaa introducing Guru Maa Malti Devi to all the family members. After getting introduced to Dimpy and Samar, Guru Maa Malti Devi gifts a hand-made gift to Dimpy and Samar. And turn by turn, she introduces everyone to Guru Maa Malti Devi. Amidst all this, Maaya steps forward and gets herself introduced to Guru Maa Malti Devi. After everyone, Anupamaa gets Guru Maa Malti Devi introduced to Anuj, seeing whom, Guru Maa Malti Devi becomes extremely gratified.

In between all this, Guru Maa Malti Devi takes the opportunity to tell everyone that she is entrusting Anupamaa with a major responsibility. Hearing the term ‘responsibility’, Anupamaa is as confused as Nakul and everyone else present there. To explain her words, Guru Maa Malti Devi decides to put her words into action. She takes a ‘aarti thaali’ and blesses Anupamaa. After everything, Guru Maa Malti Devi announces before everyone that, she has decided that, Anupamaa will be the successor of hers in USA’s Gurukul.

Hearing this, everyone goes into a state of shock and surprise. Just as when everyone is happy, the only person who becomes super sad and angry with this announcement is Nakul. The reason because, he feels that, even though he has been with Guru Maa Malti Devi since the word go, its only natural that he becomes the successor. What also hurts him the most are the parameters and the reasonings which Guru Maa Malti Devi gives for making Anupamaa the successor.

Hearing the ‘grand announcement’, the graceful and gracious Anupama falls at the blessed feet of Guru Maa Malti Devi and seeks her blessings. While doing so, everyone including Anuj bless her with showering of flowers on her. Anuj encourages Anupamaa by saying that, she deserves the bestowment of the responsibility which had been given by Guru Maa Malti Devi.

SPOILER ALERT: As a part of the wedding celebrations, the entire Shah family and Kapadia family invite the famous singer Kumar Sanu to be a part of the wedding celebrations through his music. Seeing Anuj and Anupamaa together, Maaya starts burning with envy.
