When Guru Maa Malti Devi cancels Samar and Dimpy’s contract and takes back the car, Dimpy conveniently blames Anupamaa for all this
The day starts off with Vanraj Shah telling Baa and Bapuji that everything is ok between them. That’s when even Kaavya tells in unison with Vanraj that everything is ok between them and that they need not worry about anything. Meanwhile, Kaavya becomes upset that her cab driver has cancelled the booking and that now she will have to wait for a long time for her urgent meeting, for which she has already become late. Seeing this, Dimpy and Samar, who are about to step out, stop by them. Dimpy, with her ‘brand new gleaming car’s keys dangling on her fingers, tells Kaavya that she need not worry at all. Saying this, she ‘offers’ a drive in her ‘brand new gleaming car’.
Seeing this attitude of hers, nobody in the Shah family seem to like it at all. When confronted by the Shah family, Dimpy refuses to slow down on her tone and attitude. On the contrary, she has a readymade back-answer for everything. Amidst all this, Kinjal tells Dimpy that she need not worry as her mother has already made arrangements for the important meeting to be managed and that now, she need not go for the meeting.
Just as when this ego clash is taking place, there comes a courier from Guru Maa Maalti Devi. Seeing the courier, Dimpy becomes super excited and ‘announces’ to the entire Shah family that, seeing hers and Samar’s progress, Guru Maa Maalti Devi is extremely happy and that she has now decided to hand over the Mumbai office to them to manage. But, when Samar reads the contents of the letter, he is shell-shocked. Ditto for Dimpy as well. That’s when the delivery guy asks for the car keys to be handed over back to him at the standing instructions of Guru Maa Maalti Devi, who had also cancelled Samar and Dimpy’s contract with Gurukul.
An extremely worried Dimpy messages Anupamaa and tells her to come home (Shah House) at the earliest. Reading this message, Anupamaa hurriedly goes to Shah House. What follows after that are gigantic clash of egos which is followed by flaring up of anger. Even though Anupamaa tries her level best to make Samar and Dimpy understand that, Guru Maa Maalti Devi did not sign them up for their talent, but were using them as a pawn against her. Despite all her efforts, Samar and Dimpy refuse to pay heed to her words.
That’s when Samar even back answers to Anupamaa. Hearing this and seeing his totally changed attitude and behaviour, Anupamaa is completely at a loss of words.
