Arjun Mathur on Made in Heaven: Was overwhelmed with all the personal stories that came to me

As Made In Heaven comes back with a second season, Arjun Mathur remembers what the response to the first season was like. The actor played a very important role in the series which left a lasting impression. He speaks about how ahead of Made In Heaven season 2, the response to his character was overwhelming.

“When you start doing something, it’s never with any expectation of how much the audience will really connect with it or not. I’m very grateful that it did. A lot of credit for that is purely to the writers,” the actor said at the recently held trailer launch of the show.

He received a lot of love for the fact that his character on the show helped many open up about their personal lives. The actor shared, “I did not expect it to connect the way it did. I was quite overwhelmed with all the love and personal stories that came to me and how it really enabled so many people and gave them strength to accept themselves and members of their own families.”

Arjun added, “The pressure of that isn’t anything that I can’t work with. That’s not how I approach season 2 either. Just like season 1, went on set everyday, gave the best that I could. Let’s just see what comes out of it.”

The second season of the show, like the first, will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The show will release on August 10.
