Munna Bhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munna Bhai, two of Rajkumar Hirani's most beloved films, not only won over audiences but also broke box office records. Over the years, these films have only grown in importance, achieving the status of evergreens. Audiences loved the plot, but they were particularly enamoured with Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi's performances, particularly their chemistry as Munna and Circuit. Now, Arshad finally spoke up, giving some interesting stories, as fans impatiently anticipate the third film in Hirani's acclaimed trilogy.

Arshad Warsi's insights on the third Munna Bhai film

Many approached Arshad to inquire about his involvement in Hirani's Munna Bhai trilogy. The actor remarked that Vidhu Vinod Chopra wants to make it. He, along with the filmmaker and Sanjay, will make it. Having said that, filming has not yet begun on the film.

For the sequel, Hirani has written three excellent screenplays. Here and there, certain elements are absent; that is not happening, in his opinion. Arshad informed the filmmaker that much time has passed and that what begins must also come to an end. The Munna Bhai movie series appears to have been on hold, and nobody can wait any longer since it hasn't ended yet. Arshad concluded by saying that the Munna Bhai series must come to a close.

Munna Bhai series legacy

Without a doubt, Hirani's Munna Bhai film series produced top-notch entertainment. With these two films, the filmmaker showcased his masterful storytelling and propelled them to the peak of his filmography, which has an impeccable 100% success rate.

The 2003 film Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. won a National Award. In the film, going against his father's (Sunil Dutt's) wishes, Munna (Sanjay), a thug, decides to become a doctor. He enrols in medical school with his friend Circuit (Arshad) and completely frustrates Dr. Asthana (Boman Irani).

Vidya Balan played the female lead in Lage Raho Munna Bhai, a 2006 film that also won a National Award. In the film, a radio host (Vidya) falls hopelessly for a don (Sanjay), who deceives her into thinking he is a genuine Gandhian. He changes and starts helping people honestly, but he also hurts her in the end.
