Ayushmann Khurrana’s An Action Hero to go on floors this month

Ayushmann Khurrana has been in the limelight, following the release and success of his film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. And, the actor is now set to travel to London to begin the shoot of An Action Hero later this month. 

The producers of the movie announced that the movie will begin production later this month. The movie is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar-led T-Series and filmmaker Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions and is touted to be a slick action film with an offbeat satire.

Anirudh Iyer, who has previously assisted Rai in movies such as Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Zero, makes his directorial debut with An Action Hero.

Talking about the movie, as reported by Times of India, Bhushan Kumar said, "An Action Hero has a quirky and fresh storyline and who better than Ayushmann Khurrana could fit the role. We are enthralled to commence its shoot in London and can't contain our excitement for audiences to witness this entertainment from Aanand L. Rai's stable."

Khurrana was last seen in Abhishek Kapoor’s romantic-comedy drama, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui co-starring Vaani Kapoor. The movie has received fairly positive reviews and is now available to stream on Netflix. 

The actor is also awaiting the release of Anubhav Sinha’s Anek and Doctor G, directed by Anubhuti Kashyap. He has previously collaborated with Sinha in the thriller drama Article 15.
