Fans of Korean thrillers, rejoice! Netflix released the trailer for Badland Hunters on January 12, offering a glimpse into a post-apocalyptic Seoul. A catastrophic earthquake has shattered the city, and in its wake, a terrifying new form of undead has risen. The movie will be showcasing some high-octane actions, and a fresh take on the zombie genre.

About Don Lee
Don Lee aka Ma Dong-Seok will be giving some bone-chilling performance once again, after Train to Busan (2016). After the movie’s release, the actor has become one of the most prominent celebrities in South Korea. He was even chosen as Gallup Korea's Film Actor of the Year in 2018. Don Lee is a certified boxer. Hence you can expect some badass action sequences in Badlan Hunters.
Don Lee's Hollywood debut
Don Lee has become so famous, that he grabbed his first Hollywood project with Marvel Studios, and debuted with Angelina Jolie’s Eternals in 2021. The 52-year-old actor portrayed the strongest superhero Gilgamesh in Eternals, who is also selfless.
Although he has mostly played the pivotal roles in other South Korean shows and movies, this time, in Badland Hunters, he is portraying the lead role. His performance in the trailer is a special treat to watch. Just like Train to Busan. The trailer shows Don Lee as Nam-San has survived the devastating apocalypse in Seoul. Badland Hunters is said to be the sequel to Concrete Utopia.
About Concrete Utopia
In Concrete Utopia, the story began with a massive earthquake that shook everything up. Only one apartment building, called Hwang Gung Apartments, did not fall down. Now, lots of people from outside come to live there, but the people who already live there are getting overwhelmed by the crowd.
