Several Reddit members have taken an interest in the latest Akshay Kumar movie, Cuttputlli. Many have argued that the film's jokes were lifted from the content created by comedian Bhuvan Bam, known for his roles on BB Ki Vines.

One person uploaded a clip of Akshay's conversation in the movie, where he highlights the importance of individuals in life, as well as noted a resemblance between it and a few of Bhuvan Bam's gags. The snippet from the film went viral on social media after the movie dropped on Disney+ Hotstar recently.

“First comes God, then the parents, then your siblings, relatives, friends, neighbours and then comes the teacher,” says Akshay Kumar’s character in the film. Rakul Preet Singh, who portrays a teacher, replies, “Don't you have dogs at home? You could put them on the list as well.”

Numerous people immediately recalled Bhuvan's YouTube spoof of a similar scenario. A commenter said, “Lagta hai Akshay Kumar bhi BB ka bada fan hai (Seems like Akshay Kumar is a fan of Bhuvan).” Another person said, “Bollywood walo ne proof kardiya ki copy karane ki limit nahi hoti movie ki script to copy ki hai ab joke bhi khudke nahi dalenge (Bollywood people have no limit to copy, they have even copied the script of the movie but now even the jokes).” Another said, "Copy karke bhi somehow they made it unfunny (They have copied it but somehow made it unfunny)."
