While the tribal people try to preserve the oil, a corrupt politician tries to steal it and make money.

Anatomy of a Fall

The 2023 French judicial drama film Anatomy of a Fall is directed by Justine Triet and is based on a script that she co-wrote with Arthur Harari. Sandra Hüller plays a writer who is attempting to clear her name of any involvement in her husband's passing. Swann Arlaud, Antoine Reinartz, Milo Machado-Graner, Samuel Theis, Jehnny Beth, Saadia Bentaieb, Camille Rutherford, Anne Rotger, and Sophie Fillières are among those who have roles.

On May 21, 2023, Anatomy of a Fall made its world premiere at the 76th Cannes Film Festival, where it competed for the Queer Palm and took home the Palme d'Or and Palm Dog Awards.
