Killers of the Flower Moon

Martin Scorsese is the director of the 2023 American epic Western crime drama film Killers of the Flower Moon. After oil was found on tribal land, a string of murders of Osage members and their relatives occurred in the Osage Nation during the 1920s in Oklahoma. On their reservation, the tribe members had maintained their mineral rights, but a dishonest local political boss wanted to take the money for himself. An ensemble cast is led by Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone, and Leonardo DiCaprio. Along with seven Golden Globe nominations (including Best Motion Picture – Drama, for which Gladstone won Best Actress), it was also nominated for ten Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
