The movie shows how Haluk as Agâh Beyoğlu struggles with Alzheimer’s disease while his near and dear ones die in peace. Notably, Haluk won the International Emmy Award for his performance in the series in 2019.

Rise of Empires: Ottoman

A Turkish historical docudrama called Rise of Empires: Ottoman features Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu, Tommaso Basili, and Daniel Nuță in key roles. Kelly McPherson wrote the script and Emre Sahin directed the show's six-episode first season. Netflix started offering it for streaming on January 24, 2020. It recounts the story of Constantinople's fall and discusses the Ottoman Empire and Mehmed the Conqueror. The second season, which debuted on December 29, 2022, also consists of six episodes and centers on the 1462 campaign in Wallachia (modern-day Romania) against Vlad the Impaler.
