Films and OTT premieres may come and go, but very few of them can boast of the aura and appeal of Bheemla Nayak and how it cast a spell on audiences regardless of the medium. Starring Pawan Kalyan, Rana Daggubati, Nithya Menen and Samyuktha Menon in key roles, Bheemla Nayak, directed by Saagar K Chandra, is the Telugu remake of the Malayalam hit Ayyppanum Koshiyum. Trivikram wrote the dialogues and screenplay for the actioner that hit theatres on February 25. The film was premiered on OTT on two streaming platforms, aha and Disney+ Hotstar, yesterday.
Both OTTs have taken it up as a challenge in outdoing one another in wooing audiences to watch Bheemla Nayak on their platform. aha and Disney+ Hotstar have their own set of advantages as streaming platforms. If reach is Disney+ Hotstar's main strength, aha has certainly put the spotlight on ensuring a cutting edge audio visual experience to users. The efforts in enhancing the impact of the film through the Dolby 5.1 sound and 4K HD quality have paid off big time. At least, this is what the netizens had to say.
A handful of users have compared the sound and video quality on aha and Hotstar and have voted for the former, going by the reactions on social media. S Thaman had given an outstanding background score for Bheemla Nayak and the joy of the fans has doubled when they got to experience it in the best way possible in the comfort of their homes. It's very rare that viewers focus on the technicalities of a streaming platform and applaud their team and aha has managed to achieve a unique feat, for which they deserve a pat on their back.
Pammi Sai, Narra Srinivas, Rao Ramesh, Samuthirakani, Mounika and others play supporting roles in the film. Ravi K Chandran is the cinematographer for Bheemla Nayak, a film that was edited by Navin Nooli. AS Srinivas is the art director of the same.
