Ajay Devgn has graced the director’s chair yet again, this time for the official Hindi remake of the hit 2019 Tamil film Kaithi. Titled Bholaa, the Hindi film will see Ajay take on the role of the titular character as well. The film certainly seems to offer a thrilling, intense roller coaster ride of action and emotion, if its new teaser is anything to go by.

Ajay unveiled the new teaser of his upcoming film which, which seems to be packed to the brim with action and bloodshed. The teaser starts off with a glimpse into the softer side of the titular protagonist, who reminisces about how he was unable to give even his daughter even a doll as a present. From there on its one action packed scene after another. Murder and dangerous stunts guarantee to keep viewers glued to the edge of their seats, and Ajay is seen taking on some adrenaline pumping action scenes. While he battles bad guys with his trishul in one scene, he jumps off of airborne motorcycles in another.

The trailer also shows a glimpse of Tabu’s character, that of a police officer, and we see how her role is so much more than that of a no nonsense cop.

Ajay shared the teaser on his official social media handles, and part of the caption read “Jab ek chattaan, sau shaitaanon se takrayega…”.

Amit Pandey, Sanjay Mishra, Deepak Dobriyal and Makarand Deshpande also star in Bholaa, which also features special appearances by Amala Paul and Abhishek Bachchan. The film was produced under the banners of Ajay Devgn Films, T-Series Films, Reliance Entertainment, and Dream Warrior Pictures.

Bholaa marks Ajay’s fourth directorial, after U Me Aur Hum (2008), Shivaay (2016), and Runway 34 (2022). The upcoming film is the official Bollywood remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Tamil film Kaithi, which starred Karthi in the lead.

Bholaa will be released in theatres on March 30.
