Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: Director Anees Bazmee is being flooded with offers after success of Kartik Aaryan-led film

Director Anees Bazmee's latest flick, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is running successfully in theatres. The film has reportedly earned over Rs 92 crore and is inching closer to Rs 100 crore very quickly. Starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles, the horror-comedy has broken the records of several films like Sooryavanshi. 

Owing to the success of the film, Anees Bazmee reportedly has been receiving offers from production houses and actors for a collaboration. But it looks like the director, who works at his own pace is in no hurry to accept any offers that are coming his way. There are rumours that he has received offers for a film from Ekta Kapoor, Boney Kapoor and another well-known producer. According to ETimes, a source has said that Anees is not in hurry to sign films. "Anees bhai is in no hurry to sign films as he is not insecure and has always believed in making cinema the way he wants. Right now he just wants to relax for a bit as he has worked really hard on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 for two years," said the source.

The filmmaker had earlier said that he is unable to believe that his film is doing incredibly well and is just grateful to God for all the love and support he has been receiving for the drama. The filmmaker has delivered another hit with a mass entertainer. 

It is now confirmed that there will be another instalment in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa film franchise. Producers Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani have said in an interview that they are taking the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise forward. "There is enough scope in the premise and we will announce more details at the right time,” they said, speaking to Pinkvilla.   

The first Bhool Bhulaiyaa film, starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Shiney Ahuja, was released in 2007. The film was directed by Priyadarshan and is a remake of the cult Malayalam movie, Manichitrathazhu. 

Meanwhile, director Anees Bazmee has already confirmed sequel to No Entry, titled No Entry Mein Entry. The film will star Salman Khan and will be produced by Boney Kapoor and Zee.
