During the Bigg Boss 17 grand finale, Munawar Faruqui lifted the coveted trophy and won the reality show. However, as soon as Ankita Lokhand, one of the finalists of the show, went out of the sets, supporters surrounded her. The actor was ousted from the show only minutes before the season winner was announced. Since Ankita declined to speak with the media, it appears that she wished to evade the paparazzi.
Video emerges of Ankita's distress
In a video that has made it to the Internet, Ankita seems visibly distressed. As she was about to get into her vanity van, the paparazzi and admirers swarmed her. Her mother trailed behind her as the actor's entourage attempted to subdue the mob.

Ankita can be heard telling everyone in the video to "Aaram se (relax)". The actor donned a silver saree for the series finale, and after her elimination, she became the show's fourth finalist.
"She is really feeling broken now," was one commenter's reaction to the video. "Her refusal to do interviews (family first priority)" was another reason given. Ankita is the true victor, according to another.
Salman Khan's surprised reaction
In the finale, Ankita's name came up for elimination, and she became a bit upset. Her loved ones were equally taken aback and shocked, and an emotional sister-in-law was also present.
Her elimination took Salman Khan, the host of Bigg Boss, by surprise. In his opinion, Ankita would emerge victorious from Season 17. What astonished Salman was his reaction. The actor went on to say that television is her workplace; it has been through the ups and downs of her life. Bigg Boss house has been a roller coaster, but she is departing on a high note.
