Bigg Boss 17 contestants reunited with their family members during the show's family week. During that week, Isha Malviya's father entered the BB 17 house. While he interacted with a few contestants, the actress' father didn't have a conversation with Isha's boyfriend Samarth Jurel. Post his elimination from Bigg Boss 17, Samarth reacted to Isha's father's behaviour toward him. The actor felt that the actress' dad was upset.

In a media interview, Samarth Jurel was asked about Isha Malviya's behaviour towards him on Bigg Boss 17. To this, the former BB 17 contestant admitted he was nervous wondering why the actress' father wasn't talking to him.
"Naarazgi dikh rahi thi because he got to know that I and Isha are dating through the show. However, her mother knew that we were dating. Naarazgi thi and parents do care for their kids," he said, in a media interaction. For the uninitiated, Isha's father also didn't interact much with Samarth's father, who was also in the BB 17 house during the family week. On the other hand, Samarth's dad behaved nicely with his son's girlfriend.

Samarth has been in a relationship with Isha only for a while now. The Udaariyaan actress was earlier dating Abhishek Kumar, who is also a part of Bigg Boss 17. After their break-up, Isha fell in love with Samarth. When he entered the BB 17 house as a wild card contestant, Isha denied dating the actor. However, the Udaariyaan actress later accepted that Samarth was her boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Samarth's BB 17 journey was full of ups and downs. While he spent most of his days entertaining everyone, the actor constantly poked Abhishek. After he tried to forcefully put tissue paper into the actor's mouth, Abhishek slapped Samarth. Although Kumar was ousted from the Bigg Boss 17 house, he made a comeback on the show a day later.
