Bigg Boss Kannada 10’s Sangeetha Sringeri says Marigold co-star Diganth was her childhood crush

It’s only been a few days since Sangeetha Sringeri returned home, after spending nearly 115 days in the Bigg Boss Kannada house for its 10thseason. Although she only emerged second runner-up, the actress has built a solid fan base owing to her performance on the show, which makes it the perfect time for her next film Marigold to release.

Earlier today, the team released the teaser of the comedy thriller that revolves around gold smuggling. Speaking at the event, Sangeetha said that it was a dream come true for her to be able to work with Diganth who was her childhood crush. The actress said that she may have been in class 5 or 6 when Diganth began his career. She was then quick to add that although he was older than her in age, he is fitter, looks young and well-maintained, perhaps better than her.

Sangeetha was quite impressed with the teaser cut and the way she has been portrayed in it. “My portions look really good,” she said at the event, adding that it is very important for an actor as to how he/she is presented onscreen. Marigold is Sangeetha’s first release since 2022’s 777 Charlie in which she co-starred Rakshit Shetty.

Marigold is a film that’s been ready since 2021, but is heading to theatres only now. The comedy crime thriller has been directed by Raghavendra M Naik, also stars Bala Rajwadi, Cockroach Sudhi, Sampath Maithreya, Yash Shetty and Vajrang Shetty, among others.

Following the release of the teaser, several of Sangeetha’s fans began responding that they’d watch the film in theatres only for her. The team has not revealed a release date yet, but given that they were ready to censor it way back in 2021, it should not be far off.

Prior to heading to the Bigg Boss Kannada house, Sangeetha had been on a massive fitness journey, sporting a very sculpted physique, an achievement that she was very proud of.
