Bigg Boss Ultimate! Day 22: Balaji chosen as trending player of the week; Vanitha is visibly upset

Balaji Murugadoss, unsurprisingly, has been chosen as the trending player of the week. Though most of the housemates congratulated the young model-turned-actor for his achievement, Vanitha looked quite displeased for obvious reasons. The last week witnessed many fights between Balaji and Vanitha.

In fact, it isn't an exaggeration to say that Balaji started hogging the limelight in the last few days, unlike Vanitha who was the centre of attraction during the initial days because of her over-the-top behaviour in the house. After many others in the house openly criticizing her arrogant body language, she seems to be a bit quiet in the last few days. 

Looks like Balaji Murugadoss' sudden popularity among the housemates and the number of votes he has been securing of late, has disturbed Vanitha. After Balaji being adjudged as the trending player, Bigg Boss asked him which person he would like to choose to groom him in the house, and he came up with Anitha's name.

He further chose Niroop to feed him in the house for the week and selected Julie to assist him in purchasing items from 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya' list. Balaji enjoyed all the attention from the house and was seen visibly excited.

During the nomination process, Snehan, Vanitha and Suruthi came up with Abirami's name. Vanitha felt Abirami has been escaping the eviction in a smart way, while Suruthi said Abirami is being fake. Vanitha also nominated Suruthi; Julie and Thamrai, too, nominated her name.

Julie felt that Suruthi has been talking behind her back, while Snehan opined that Suruthi never talks honestly. During their turn, Abirami and Anitha nominated Vanitha; their reason was that the senior actress has been using derogatory words in the house. Abirami, Suruthi, Thadi Balaji, Vanitha, Niroop, Julie, Snehan and Anitha have featured in this week's nominated list.
