In an interesting turn of events, Bigg Boss came up with a new task in which the 11 contestants in the house were asked to choose their positions from one to eleven based on their performance so far. Balaji chose himself as the numero uno contestant in the house, and as expected, this did not go down well with a few.
Anitha and Niroop, who have been picking up fights with Balaji of late, asked him how he deserves to be in the first position, to which Bala came up with a few reasons.
A confident Bala said, "I was chosen as the best performer for three weeks, apart from being the captain for one week and trending player for a week." However, Anitha refuted his tall claims and said that being a trending player do not necessarily mean in a positive way.
She argued, "People with negative behaviour have become trending player in the past. So, there is no point in blowing your trumpet over having been chosen as trending player for a week. You are not qualified to claim yourself as the numero uno contestant in the house."
A visibly disturbed Balaji reacted by saying that let people decided who the winner is. "If you can't agree with me endorsing myself as the best player of the house, I leave it to the audience. I'm sure they know how to judge us in a better way," he said. Later, Bigg Boss asked each of them to choose two people who they think should be saved from this week's elimination.
Snehan, Julie and Balaji felt Sathish should be saved, no matter what. Sathish, along with Snehan, chose Suresh to be the person who deserves to be omitted from the eviction list this week. Suruthi, Anitha and Balaji chose to save Thamarai. Finally, it was announced that Snehan, Suruthi, Balaji and Julie have been chosen as the housemates who will be evicted this week.
