Just hours after the final four members of BTS enlisted in the South Korean military, eliciting emotional reactions from ARMY, BigHit Music delivered a delightful surprise by releasing the performance video for Jeon Jungkook's collaboration with Usher.
On December 13, the agency unveiled the teaser for the official performance video of "Standing Next to You – Usher Remix" on YouTube.
Earlier in the month, Usher and Jungkook had joined forces to create a special remix for BTS maknae's album 'Golden,' featuring the title track "Standing Next to You".
Following a video of the two dancing to Usher’s "Yeah!", fans speculated about a special project, and the remix is set to be released on December 15 at 2 p.m. KST.
Excited ARMY members flooded X (formerly known as Twitter) to express their joy at the continued flow of BTS content amid their enlistment.
About BTS:
Amid their current hiatus, all seven members of BTS are fulfilling their military service obligations in South Korea, with plans for a group reunion in 2025. In a heartening display of support, ARMY has taken the initiative to propel the group's older songs back onto the charts.
'Spring Day,' a track released by BTS six years ago, has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing Mariah Carey's iconic Christmas anthem, 'All I Want For Christmas Is You.'
Despite the latter's annual resurgence in December, 'Spring Day' managed to claim the top spot on the US iTunes chart this year, securing its first-ever #1 position after six years.
