Bombay Begums Trailer: Five Ambitious Women Wrestle With Desire, Choices And Sisterhood In This Impressive Series

When actress Pooja Bhatt shared the first poster of her upcoming web series Bombay Begums, fans were pretty excited to see her in a boss lady avatar. Along with the powerful post, she had written: “Rise & slay! There is nothing stronger than a woman who has rebuilt herself.” It gave us a pretty good idea of what the series would be about and we eagerly waited for it to premiere on Netflix on 8 th March. Well much to our delight, the trailer of Bombay Begums was shared today and it’s better than anything we expected.
 

Featuring an ensemble cast of extremely talented actors including Pooja, Shahana Goswami, Amruta Subhash, Aadhya Anand, Plabita Borthakur, Rahul Bose, Danish Husain, Vivek Gomber and Manish Chaudhari, the women centric show follows the story of 5 ambitious and fiery women who wrestle with their emotions, choices, desires, an unexpected sisterhood and most of all, a struggle for power. While one is the CEO of a bank, another is a future MD and mother to be. Then there’s one who aspires to be a CEO, and one who dances in bars, hoping to give her son a bright future. They lead different lives but their aim is one-- to survive in the city of dreams. They are queens and they are survivors.

Helmed by Alankrita Shrivastava, this web series not only promises to entertain but also assures to intrigue the viewers. The trailer is quite impressive and we are sure Bombay Begums will do wonders when it finally premieres on Netflix.
