Just a day ago, BTS' V made fans happy with the release of his highly-anticipated single 'FRI(END)S'. The music video (MV) shows Kim Taehyung experiencing two alternate realities simultaneously: one where he is frustrated and lonely, seeing lovebirds everywhere, and another where he is in love, while the world around him is in chaos.

Now, surprising fans, BTS' agency BigHit Music went a step ahead and got Taehyung's real-life 'FRI(END)S' to react to the MV. Reacting to the video were Squid Game's lead actor Lee Jung-Jae, K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM, South Korean television producer and director Na Young-Seok (nicknamed Na PD), K-drama actor Uhm Jung-Hwa (known for her role in 'Doctor Cha'), and K-drama actor Sung Dong-il, who acted with V in the Netflix series 'Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth'.

Unsurprisingly, all of these individuals are close to Taehyung in real life, given V's special charm and reputation as a social butterfly. BTS' fans, called ARMY, were happy to see his friends take an interest in his work life and support his new MV.

It was interesting to see Sung Dong-il trying to sing the song the whole time, while the LE SSERAFIM girls and Uhm Jung-hwa reacted to the two times V was seen getting hit by the car.

Na PD, at the end of the MV, was seen portraying what everyone was thinking: "Does V want to stay in a world where he is lonely and all are in love, or a world where everyone is not loving but he is with a person he loves?"

Lee Jung-jae, the actor from Squid Game, also expressed his curiosity about whether the MV's idea originated from Taehyung himself, mentioning that he plans to ask him directly about it.

About 'FRI(END)S':

The song is now available for streaming on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Music. The MV has provided fans with the chance to immerse themselves in V's artistic vision, captivating visuals, and lyrics. Taehyung has prompted ARMY to reflect on the choice between two realities, potentially reflecting the struggle of dual existence.

Where is V?

Taehyung, just like his fellow BTS members Kim Namjoon (RM), Kim Seokjin (Jin), Min Yoongi (Suga), Jung Hoseok (J-Hope), Park Jimin (Jimin), and Jeon Jung-kook (Jungkook), is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service in South Korea.

His enlistment period is set to conclude on June 10, 2025, coinciding with the expected return of him and his bandmates.
