Bangladeshi productions Alpha-i and Chorki collaborate with Indian house, SVF to present the film directed by Redwan Roni
After Chorki decided to expand its market in India, SVF joined hands with the Bangladeshi OTT platform in a project. Along with Alpha-i, these two houses are all set with a brand new film Domm with acclaimed actor Chanchal Chowdhury in the lead. The first look of the film was unveiled on December 9. According to the press not released by the collaboration houses, there will be one more film which will be announced on December 11. 1.
Redwan Roni will helm the film, Domm. At a recent press conference, Redwan Rony expressed his inspiration drawn from true events, emphasising the profound mental strength of an ordinary person in the face of imminent danger. He conveyed gratitude to SVF, Alpha, and Chorki for their collaboration on these two Bengali cinematic endeavors.
Chanchal Chowdhury expressed his excitement about the challenging role in the film. The actor commended the compelling storyline and the grand scale of the film, acknowledging the comfort derived from the supportive production houses.
The press conference was attended by actress Nusrat Imroz Tisha, director Syed Ahmed Shawki, Chorki officials, and members of the media.
On the other hand, Chorki will present a brand new show, Lahu. Directed by Rahool Mukherjee, the project will feature Arifin Shuvoo and Sohini Sarkar. Billed as a thriller, the film went on floors in November and has been shot in Kolkata.
