Crew of Vijay's Beast reacts to FDFS response; Pooja Hegde, Anirudh, Nelson elated with response

Nelson Dilipkumar's Beast released today in a huge number of theatres across the globe. The shows for the Vijay-starrer began as early as 4 am in many places. The action flick has opened to mixed reviews from both critics and filmgoers. Though the film has elements that will cater to fans of Vijay, the lackadaisical screenplay has been facing criticism from various quarters.

Many Kollywood celebrities had attended the FDFS of the film in various theatres in Chennai. Sun Pictures, which bankrolled the project, released a video in which Nelson, music composer Anirudh and Pooja Hegde who watched the film in a theatre in the city outskirts are seen excitedly talking about their experience of watching Beast along with the audience.

Anirudh said that the Beast mode is really on now and that it is a fully Thalapathy special film. "Nelson has made it interestingly and we are all a small part of the film. I want to thank everyone for enjoying my music. I'm sure Beast is going to rock in the upcoming days," he said.

Nelson, who otherwise appears as a talkative person, was seen as calm and composed. After the film was completed, he said, "I watched the film with everyone. Thank you all for the good response. People have been reacting in a positive manner."

Pooja was visibly excited after catching up with the show. She called it an amazing experience and said that unlike her previous experiences till date, this was a special show for her. 

She said, "I always watch all my films, but this is super special. I want to watch it again and again. That is the feeling. I hope that you all enjoy the film. I loved seeing the reaction to the Arabic Kuthu song."
