Rahool Mukhopadhyay’s Dadur Kirti is all set to release on March 29. One of the key actors, Paran Bandyopadhyay, as an actor, stunned the audience with many roles. But he is also known to be a good singer as well. Previously, he sang for several of his films. Paran recorded a song for the web series Dadur Kirti.

Paran Bandyopadhyay previously sang in the film Bhooter Bhobishyot. Why did he agree this time? The veteran actor told Anandabazar online, “I did not agree initially and asked Rahul to take another singer. I will leap.” He also added, “If I sing, then it does not do justice to those who come to sing after proper training. But Rahul asked so nicely that I could not help agreeing.”

In the past, Paran Bandyopadhyay sang for directors Buddhadeb Dasgupta and Tarun Majumdar. How is his experience this time? Paran said, “I did a playback after a long time. The song has a special role in the screenplay which the audience can understand. I had a wonderful experience.”

The song’s name is Melodrama. The director told the background story. The series tells the story of the Choudhury family where, apart from humans, ghosts also reside. Paran plays grandfather Satinath and Satyam Bhattacharya plays the family driver Rafik. Rahul said, “One day I heard Paranda's cellphone's caller tune and mistook it as his voice. He said that it was sung by Sachin Deb Barman. I requested him to sing, finding similarities between their voices.”

Satyam also lent voice to the song. The director said that the song is an integral part of the story’s movement. Other characters also lent their voices. Rahul said, “We had great fun. The entire song will be in the series. We hope people will love it.” Dadur Kirti will be released this March.
