Story:

Asmita and Abhimanyu get closer. How close can they manage to get really?

Review:

Dear Ishq is back and it is thankfully introduced with a promo of what is to come. That surely spices things up.

It continues from where Niyati Fatnani’s Asmita Roy and Sehban Azim’s Abhimanyu Razdan ended last. They share an expected moment but it is cute nonetheless because the smiles are back.

This time, Asmita reads a book without fantasising, which is interesting. This is especially intriguing since her fantasies have turned into real-life romance. Of course, the moment is ruined once again with random glimpses of Mumbai and daydreaming scenes which are over-the-top, courtesy the music.

Kishwer Merchant’s Maya, thankfully, ruins the moment. Puneet Tejwani’s Peter adds to it. Kishwer is absolutely fab in her scenes this time around but the music, like always, isn’t.

Kunal Verma’s Rizwan Khan and Vikas Grover as his boyfriend Anirban are back. Even if briefly, they take it a step ahead.

Asmita’s fantasy-real life dilemma continues. The scene post that is interesting, for sure. The cinematograph of it, isn’t.

Tanya Sharma as Shalini is not that interesting to watch. She, however, has her moments.

Buneet Kapoor as Shauvik makes a re-entry. With that, the episode, once again, ends on a cliffhanger. It could’ve been handled better but the scene works, nonetheless.

Verdict:

Dear Ishq has finally started to stay true to the name. The story is now about Abhimanyu and Asmita’s ishq which is interesting to watch.
