Deepika Padukone on dealing with the Pathaan controversy: All Shah Rukh Khan and I know is commitment, hard work, humility

Prior to the release of Pathaan, the film dealt with its share of controversies, owing specifically to the song Besharam Rang. The video features Deepika Padukone dancing to the track, as well as Shah Rukh Khan. Now, during an interaction, the Chhapaak actor reacted to how she dealt with the whole controversy that took place around the release of the Siddharth Anand directorial.

Both of us were athletes; as far as she knows, SRK played sports in high school and college. One learns a lot about self-control through sports.

When asked if it helped settle the controversy before the movie came out, Deepika said she didn't know what else to do. It seems like it's not responding, and yet being able to block out the noise requires patience, endurance, and humility in addition to recognising one's truth.
