What happened in episode 1?

Nezuko is the only demon to survive sunlight. This makes Muzan think he can be immortal if he can devour her. Having realized that, the Hashiras are doing everything in their power to stop him. They are training to get better and give him tough competition when the time comes. The secret behind Mitsuri Kanroji and Muichiro Tokito’s marks were revealed, and the link to Tanjiro was explained.
