Etharkkum Thunindhavan teaser: Suriya, Vinay Rai set to lock horns in this family entertainer

As announced earlier, the teaser of one of the much-awaited films of the year, Etharkkum Thunindhavan, has been unveiled by Sun Pictures, which is bankrolling the project. The one-minute video from the action-packed family entertainer has Suriya bashing the baddies left, right and centre.

He is also seen having fun shaking a leg in a crucial scene along with a few others. The film's female lead Priyanka Arul Mohan and Sathyaraj make a blink-and-miss appearance in the teaser while Vinay Rai, who plays the antagonist in it, is given adequate prominence. The makers had left the details pertaining to his character and his appearance under wraps. 

Going by the teaser, he plays Inba, a criminal who makes the life of the character played by Suriya, topsy-turvy. How the latter goes in search of him to take revenge is likely to be the story of Etharkkum Thunindhavan. Saranya Ponvannan, Rajkiran, MS Bhaskar and Soori among others will be seen playing important roles in the movie.

Imman has composed music for the project which has cinematography by Rathnavelu and editing by Ruben. Ram Laxman and Anbariv have choreographed the action scenes in the film which has dance composition by Baba Baskar and Jani.

Yugabharathi, Sivakarthikeyan and Vignesh Shivan have penned lyrics for the songs in Etharkkum Thunindhavan which has art direction helmed by Jacki. The Pandiraj directorial will hit the screens on March 10 in multiple languages. According to the teaser, the film has more action compared to Pandiraj's previous outings.

Vinay Rai and Priyanka Mohan were previously seen together in Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Doctor (streaming on Netflix). Etharkkum Thunindhavan, which is Suriya's 40th project, is the star's theatrical release after more than two years. His last release was KV Anand's Kaappaan (streaming on Amazon Prime Video).
