Exclusive! Koneenica Banerjee, Madhurima Chakraborty, and others on a brand new web series

Koneenica Banerjee, Madhurima Chakraborty, Dhruba Jyoti Sarkar, and others will team up for a brand new web series for Platform 8. Directed by Abhigyan Mukherjee, the show is called, Irabatir Shatineer. According to sources, the shooting is scheduled to begin in April.

According to sources close to the projects, Aparajita Adhya may also be a part of the show. However, there has not been any confirmation yet. “It all depends on the actress’s time and availability. There are multiple important characters in the show and initially, we thought about her as a key character. However, she is busy with her current work. We are keen to talk to her and see if she says yes,” the source said.

On the other hand, Koneenica has been busy with multiple projects. She was last seen in Avijit Sen’s Pradhan which features Dev. The film was released in December last year and was considered to be one of the box office successes of 2023. She will also appear in the second season of Rajneeti on Hoichoi. Billed as a political thriller, the series features Kaushik Ganguly, Ditipriya Roy, Arjun Chakrabarty, Shaymal Chakraborty and others. Meanwhile, Madhurima started her serial Bodhua on Star Jalsha. She plays the sister of the male lead, played by Rezwan Rabbani Sheikh. Another TV actor Dhruba Jyoti Sarkar will also be seen as an important character in the web series.
