Nargis Fakhri will next be seen in the Hindi film Shiv Shastri Balboa. Ahead of the release of the film, the actress reveals what made her choose this film to make her comeback to Bollywood.

Nargis told OTTplay, "The story is so interesting and well written that I immediately found it exciting. It is an original story, in which audiences will get to see America in a very real way. The film talks about everything from the location, to the people and the social issues that people deal with. There are passport issues, that of racism and immigration for people who go there to work. But all these issues are being dealt with a dash of humour. These are the reasons why I had to do the film."

The actress added that her character adds a twist to the tale. Nargis said, "The love story between Sia (her character) and Cinnamon (Sharib Hashmi) is cute. I was game as soon as I got to know that Sharib is going to play my boyfriend in the film!"

The actress revealed that many people don't know that she is quite funny and goofy in real life. "People don't think that about me, perhaps because of the way I look. But people who know me well know how funny I am. But in Shiv Shastri Balboa, my character is more cute than funny," shared the actress.

Shiv Shastri Balboa is the story of an elderly man named Shiv Shastri (Anupam Kher), who goes to the US to live with his son. He tries to help Elsa (Neena Gupta), an Indian woman who is desperate to visit India after being stuck in the USA for four years.

Shiv Shastri Balboa is written and directed by Ajayan Venugopalan, and produced by Kishore Varieth. It also stars Jugal Hansraj, Anil Joseph and Alison Corriere, and will release in theatres on February 10.
