Chris Noth

Chris Noth will not be a part of CBS’ series The Equalizer with immediate effect, the channel, along with Universal Television announced on Monday. Noth is set to appear in one more episode after which he will seize to be a part of the series. The decision was made after two women accused Noth of sexual assault. Bill Cosby

ViacomCBS will back a four-part docuseries on Bill Cosby, directed by filmmaker W Kamau Bell. The show, titled We Need to Talk About Cosby, will chart Cosby’s glorious career and its consequent fall when he was accused by several women of sexual assault. Lorne Michaels, the creator of Saturday Night Live, may exit the show after its 50th anniversary. Michaels developed the reality spoof show in 1975, which soon became a household name. Michaels still holds the record for the most individual Primetime Emmy Award nominations at 94, having bagged 20 of those awards. He stated in a recent CBS Mornings interview that the best time to step down from the show would be after its golden jubilee which comes up in 2024.
