There can be no glorious moment to overpower; at least for the coming few months, what Virat Kohli has achieved in world cricket and his iconic century at the semi-finals of the 2023 World Cup while playing against New Zealand will be written in golden letters. But what also will be written (not in golden words) is how lethal the internet is at times and how far Netizens have come from the time they tried to blame a woman cheering from the stands for her husband to now calling her a queen. Yes, we are talking about Anushka Sharma. 

Virat and Anushka are a rock-solid couple and one that has set goals for generations by standing behind each other strongly. The two, with their gestures for each other, have always won hearts, and those flying kisses from the match yesterday (November 15) are the images that will stay with us for a long time. The internet is lauding and obsessing over them. But let’s recall when Kohli failed to perform well and Sharma had to suffer the heat. 

Virat Kohli returned to form in a full-blown way in 2022 . He suffered a rough patch where his performance was underwhelming a lot of times.
