Gaurav Chakrabarty and Ridhima Ghosh post adorable photos of Dheer at his rice ceremony

Gaurav Chakrabarty and Ridhima Ghosh took to their social media to reveal the news of her pregnancy last year on Poila Boishakh – Bengali New Year – on April 15. Ever since the Tollywood power couple kept their fans updated with their journey. In September last year, Ridhima and Gaurav announced the arrival of their son, Dheer. However, they never revealed the face of the child. On March 13, it was Dheer’s rice ceremony and the duo revealed his face to the world.

In the photos shared by Gaurav and Ridhima on their Instagram, Dheer is seen in a white and red dhoti kurta, draped in quintessential Bengali style. The baby looks super cute in his ‘Bangali Babu’ style in attire by celebrity designer Abhisek Roy. While Dheer has made social media appearances through his parents, this is the first time he has shown his face to the world. In fact, they made it clear that he would make an appearance at his rice ceremony. 

As per reports, red and white was the theme of the party. Gaurav wore a kurta that followed the style of Dheer’s. Ridhima wore a red Dhakai Jamdani. She also picked traditional Bengali jewellery to go with her sari. Their post garnered a series of wishes from their co-workers and fans.

Earlier, the duo revealed that Dheer is generally quiet and does not disturb the night sleep time. He is also not known to cry often.

Dheer was born on September 16 last year. Gaurav has completed his shooting of Sayantan Ghosal’s Sonar Kellay Jawker Dhon and is currently busy with Arindam Sil’s Ekti Khuner Sandhane Mitin – the third film of Mitin Mashi Franchise. Ridhima is still enjoying her maternity leave.
