Netflix is releasing a bunch of new video games next year, including one based on the popular show Squid Game. The streaming giant will also bring back a classic Sonic game – Sonic Mania Plus and a sequel to Cozy Grove – Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit. Other games coming out include one about designing clothes called FashionVerse, another where you run a game company called Game Dev Tycoon, and a game set in the world of Zack Snyder's upcoming sci-fi film Rebel Moon – Rebel Moon game.

Mike Verdu confirmed the news

Netflix's vice-president Mike Verdu announced the news on Netflix’s blog by saying, “By year’s end, we’ll have eighty-six games available, all included with every Netflix membership without ads, in-app purchases or extra fees. And with nearly ninety more games in development, we are just getting started.”

GTA release date

Netflix also released a whopping forty games this year, which include Grand Theft Auto Trilogy, which will be launched on December 14, and others like Football Manager and Storyteller that everyone's been playing. Mike wrote that Netflix is trying to find some games that its subscribers like.

Where to get these games?

After getting the license from Rockstar Games, Netflix will be dropping the classic Grand Theft Auto games – Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, for the subscribers, who use the Netflix game app. You can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The interesting part is, all the games are updated to play on mobile.
