Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 trailer: James Gunn brings the 'guardians' back to face the 'music' one last time

A brand-new, action-packed trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the final instalment in James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, was released online last night during the Big Game. James Gunn and Marvel Studios created the trailer.

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, from Marvel Studios, our cherished band of misfits is adjusting to life on Knowhere. However, it doesn't take long for the echoes of Rocket's turbulent past to disrupt their lives. Peter Quill has to rally his team behind him so he can go on a dangerous mission to save Rocket's life while he is still upset about Gamora's death. The Guardians as we know them may no longer exist if they fail.

Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, and Maria Bakalova also appear in the movie. Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper play Groot and Rocket, respectively.

Earlier, while talking about getting reinstated as the director of the film, Gunn had earlier said, "In the end, my love for Rocket, Groot, Gamora, Star-Lord, Yondu, Mantis, Drax, and Nebula—and some of the other forthcoming heroes—goes deeper than you guys can possibly imagine, and I feel they have more adventures to go on and things to learn about themselves and the wonderful and sometimes terrifying universe we all inhabit."

He had earlier directed The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, which is a short film that premiered in 2022 on Disney+ Hotstar. Events set in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 are post-credits.

The writer and the director are both James Gunn. Along with producer Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Sara Smith, and Simon Hatt are all executive producers.

On May 5, 2023, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 from Marvel Studios will be available in India in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
