Guntur Kaaram is Mahesh Babu's latest film which was released on January 12, 2024, as a Sankranthi special. The film opened to mixed reactions on day one, but that did not stop Guntur Kaaram from making a great start at the box office.
The day one collections are out and Guntur Kaaram has made a whopping Rs 33 crore share in Telugu states. What's special is that these figures are the highest in Mahesh Babu's career to date. Previously, the record was held by his last film Sarkaru Vaari Pata which was directed by Parasuram.

The action drama made Rs 11.50 crore in Telangana on day one which is also the highest to date in Mahesh Babu's career. Well, the film will be tested from today as Venkatesh's Saindhav has also been released and HanuMan, the other Sankranthi release, has taken off to a great start at the box office.
Guntur Kaaram is directed by Trivirkam Srinivas who gave big hits to Mahesh in the form of Athadu and Khaleja. Well, the expectations were soaring high for this film but Guntur Kaaram did not meet the expectations.
Mahesh Babu's performance becomes a talking point
Guntur Kaaram is being praised for Mahesh Babu's performance. He has tried something new with this film and this worked well for his fans who love his action-packed avatar.
The day two numbers of the Mahesh-starrer are also going to be great as the Pongal holidays are in full flow in Telugu states. The makers are confident that by the end of the festival holidays, Guntur Kaaram will be in a safe zone.
