Here's when the trailer of the most-awaited summer release, Vijay's Beast, will be unveiled by its makers

The much-awaited moment for Vijay fans has finally come. After impatiently waiting for an update about the teaser/trailer release of Beast from production house Sun Pictures, they have finally revealed that the film's trailer will be released at 6 pm on April 2. 

This has come as a huge relief for the star's fans who were slightly disappointed with the delay in update from the makers.  

Nelson Dilipkumar has directed the movie which will release on April 13 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. Unlike other four versions, its Hindi version has been titled Raw.

Vijay is said to be playing an army officer in the project which has a story that revolves around rescue operations in a huge mall. Pooja Hegde plays the female lead in the film which has Selvaraghavan, Redin Kingsley, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh and Aparna Das essaying significant roles.

The trailer announcement tweet posted by Sun Pictures also had a short motion poster which has Vijay seen indulged in a rescue mission. Nelson had earlier said that the film will be slightly different from the movies Vijay had done earlier. Anirudh Ravichander has scored music for the project and two songs composed by him have already been released.

Manoj Paramahamsa and Nirmal have handled cinematography and editing for Beast respectively while Jani has choreographed dance sequences for the movie. Anbariv has designed action scenes for the film which is said to be rich in some amazing stunt pieces.

Fans of Vijay hope that post the trailer release, there will be regular promotional activities from the production house to keep the momentum going. Beast is Vijay's release after a hiatus of 15 months. From the beginning, the makers have managed to keep details on the film's plot and characterisation of actors under wraps.
