Triptii Dimri shared screen space with Ranbir Kapoor in Animal. The actress' popularity spiked after the film hit the big screen. In the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial, Triptii shared a couple of bold and intimate scenes with her co-star Ranbir. A few months after Animal's theatrical release, Triptii has now revealed how her parents reacted when they saw her intimate scene with Ranbir.
Speaking with Vogue India, Triptii Dimri stated that she is aware of her reasons for doing Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal. Although the actress was informed that it was a small role, she found the character interesting.
Spilling beans about how her mother and father reacted to her bold and intimate scene with Ranbir Kapoor in Animal, Triptii said, "My parents were completely rattled when they saw it. We had to have a long discussion on why that scene was crucial."
For the uninitiated, before Animal was released on the big screen, CBFC suggested 8 cuts in the film, including an intimate scene between two characters. Ranbir and Triptii's close-up shots during an intimate sequence were also cut from the film.
Following the stupendous success of Animal, Triptii Dimri's social media following saw a jump of 320%. As of today, the Animal actress enjoys a massive fan following of 5 million people on Instagram. Although she had a small role in Sandeep's film, the actress is expected to enjoy more screen time in the second installment, Animal Park.
Meanwhile, Triptii has now bagged the third installment of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The actress replaced Kiara Advani in Anees Bazmee's directorial. Dimrii will be sharing screen space with Kartik Aaryan in the horror comedy. Vidya Balan, too, has made a comeback to the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. Having said that, the film has been scheduled for a theatrical release on Diwali.
