Iman Chakraborty remembers her mother on her death anniversary

It was not just another day for musician Iman Chakraborty. The National Award-winning singer remembered her mother in an emotional post as it was the day she lost her mother years ago. Iman posted a childhood picture on social media and wrote about her mother, whom she lost nine years back. 

The picture shows the singer as a kid, sitting on her mother's lap, wearing a black top, a red sweater, and black pants. Her mother wore a white salwar and red shawl, and she was smiling at the camera. 

Iman wrote on Facebook, “Mother, you are my Durga. My Durga has no immersion. That day nine years back should not have come, mother!” 

Many people – her fan and common people – offered their sympathies. One person wrote, “Very sad. Mothers never get lost. She is with you. Stay well.” Another person, known to Iman, reminisced about how he did puja to Iman's mother's picture in their Liluah's house. He also praised Sankar Chakraborty, Iman's father, and wished Iman the best.
