Jai plays a superhero who fights against robots and evil forces in Breaking News

Actor Jai, who was last seen in the web series Triples, which premiered on Disney+ Hotstar, has a slew of projects in his kitty. The last time he was in the news was when the teaser of his movie with Susienthiran, Shiva Shivaa, released. The film also marks his debut as a composer. 

One of his upcoming films, Breaking News, directed by Andrew Pandian, is a superhero fantasy movie, produced by K Thirukadal Uthayam under the banner of Rahul Films. After the movie went on floors, the makers had announced that its story will revolve around robotics technology and animation.

Banusree plays the female lead in the movie which has Big Boss Tamil fame Snehan, Pazha Karuppaiya, Azhagiya Tamilmani, Magadheera fame Devgil and Rahul Dev among others essaying crucial roles. The makers have now revealed that the highlight of Breaking News, which is made at a high budget, will be fight sequences involving Jai and a few robots. 

According to Andrew, 450 CG artistes are busy working on the film's VFX works which is currently going on in a swift manner. The movie's cinematography is by Jhonylal & Wiliams, while Antony has handled its editing. Prabahakar is in charge of the movie's VFX and Vishal Peter has composed music for the ambitious project. 

The makers also released a few stills featuring Jai, Baunsree and Snehan. Jai will be seen playing an IT employee who hails from a middle-class family. He comes across a meteor which hits the earth from space. After it pierces into his body, some unexplainable chemical reactions happens as a result of which neutrons in his brain starts reacting in a bizarre way. How he transforms into a superhero and takes on a few baddies who are about to destroy many places in India forms the film's plot. The movie's trailer is expected to release soon.
