Jailer next schedule begins, Rajinikanth takes off to Hyderabad

Superstar Rajinikanth had recently taken a break from the shoot of his upcoming film Jailer. Now we hear that the actor has headed to Hyderabad to shoot for the next schedule. The actor was spotted at the Chennai airport, walking in his usual swag. Soon fans surrounded to get a glimpse of the Superstar. He was seen dressed in a plain T shirt and joggers and carrying a book in hand. The shoot was recently on hold after the last schedule. Nelson Dilipkumar, too, had taken a break, and had headed to watch the FIFA match in Qatar. Rajinikanth, had in the meantime, celebrated his birthday, and headed on a spiritual darshan to Tirumala temple and Ameen Peer Dargah.

Jailer is said to be an action thriller which has Rajinikanth, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Vasanth Ravi and Yogi Babu as part of the star cast. The film also marks the debut of Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar in the Tamil film industry. He has already signed his second film in Tamil, Captain Miller, which has Dhanush in the lead and is directed by Arun Matheswaran. The latest we hear is that Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal is also part of the film and that he will join the schedule in Hyderabad.

Music for Jailer is by Anirudh Ravichander. This is his third film with Rajinikanth after Petta and Darbar. On the other hand, this is the fourth collaboration of Anirudh with Nelson Dilipkumar, after Kolamaavu Kokila, Doctor and Beast. Cinematography is by Vijay Karthik Kannan and editing is by R Nirmal. The film is bankrolled by Sun Pictures.

In the meantime, Rajinikanth has also signed Lal Salaam, which will be directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. He will make a special appearance in the film. Lal Salaam revolves around cricket and has Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead and will have music by AR Rahman. Aishwarya has been regularly sharing updates from the film.
