Nushrratt Bharuccha is aiming to break taboos and convey an important social message with her new film, Janhit Mein Jaari. As promised, the makers have unveiled the film’s trailer today, which shows Nushrratt as a determined saleswoman with an important purpose.

The trailer shows Nushrratt taking up a lucrative job as a condom saleswoman. Although she has her apprehensions at first, she quickly realises the importance of the commodity and soon becomes an active advocate for their use. But the people around her do not seem impressed with her profession, and her problems are compounded when she gets married. But despite it all, she perseveres and her efforts soon start to change the mindset of many who previously mocked her. Towards the end, she also makes an important case for the importance of condoms, which could help save the lives of many young women in the country who lose their lives to illegal abortions.

Anud Singh Dhaka, Tinnu Anand, Vijay Raaz and Paritosh Tripathi also play pivotal roles in the social comedy, directed by Jai Basantu Singh. Sadhu S. Tiwari, Prini Sidhant Madhav and Amol-Abhishek are in charge of the film’s music.The upcoming film is produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Vishal Gurnani, Raaj Shaandilyaa, Vimal Lahoti, Shradha Chandavarkar, Bunty Raghav and Rajesh Raghav, and co-produced by Juhi Parekh Mehta. Jai Basantu Singh, Raaj Shaandilyaa, Rajan Agarwal and Sonali Singh have written the film’s script. Raaj had earlier directed Nushrratt in the 2019 film Dream Girl, which starred Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead.

Janhit Mein Jaari will release in theatres on June 10, 2022.
