Jeetu Kamal wishes his estranged wife Nabanita on her birthday

The marriage of Jeetu Kamal and his wife actress Nabanita Das has been offering a lot of drama of late. While Nabanita has announced that they are heading towards separation and have been living in a different house for a while now, Jeetu did not confirm the breakup. Moreover, the actor hinted that he was in love with Nabanita. 

In the latest update, Jeetu flew back to Kolkata days before his wife’s birthday on August 3. The actor was shooting in London. Though they have been living separately, Jeetu’s birthday wish for Nabanita shines bright on his social media handle. In fact, he wished her the best by sharing an old video. It was a three-year-old video that shows Jeetu getting a big cake for his ‘baby wife’ during Covid. He also had a party with Nabanita at his place and shared the video with his fans.

However, that togetherness seems to be a past now. Is Jeetu sad? In an interview with Aajkal Dot In, the actor said, “Yes, I am sad.” He also regretted that his personal life is being talked about more than his work. The Aparajito-actor worked in the film Manush, produced by Jeet’s production house. “It was supposed to be released in September but was suddenly postponed. I heard it would be released in November. I also worked on other projects. If one is postponed, so will the others.”

Jeetu further said, “Nabanita and I both believe in such an attitude. I never opened my mouth about my ex, and I will do the same about Nabanita. I never expressed my personal feelings, and did not open my mouth even to my parents also, regarding the separation.”

Is Jeetu a free man now? “Who has ever bound me? When I lived with my parents, I was free then also. I was free even when I had a family with Nabanita. I always live on my own terms,” the actor stated.
