Kamal Haasan's all smiles at the trailer launch of Vikram at Burj Khalifa; makers release promo video

Team Vikram, under the leadership of Kamal Haasan, has been promoting the movie with a vengeance for the last few weeks. The actor-filmmaker, who has also bankrolled the Lokesh directorial, organized press meets in Chennai, Delhi, Kochi, Mumbai, Malaysia and Hyderabad recently.

Kamal has expressed his excitement of having had wonderful interactions with movie buffs and the media during the promotional activities of the film. The videos of some of the answers he gave to a few questions during the press interactions have been going viral on social media.

The icing on the cake with regard to the movie's promotion was the trailer launch at the popular Burj Khalifa in Dubai. The makers released a short video from the event where Kamal is seen enjoying reactions of film buffs even as they whistle and clap hands watching the adrenaline-pumping trailer.

No other Tamil movie was promoted like Vikram in recent times, and no leading Tamil star in recent years single-handedly shouldered promotional activities of their film. Movie buffs and industry insiders hope that other stars take a cue from Kamal in the coming days in terms of garnering attention from several quarters.

Vikram marks the fourth directorial project of Lokesh after Maanagaram (streaming on Amazon Prime Video), Kaithi (streaming on Disney+ Hotstar) and Master (streaming on Amazon Prime Video). The movie also marks Kamal's return to acting after Vishwaroopam 2 (streaming on Disney+ Hotstar).

Anbarivu has choreographed action scenes for the film which has cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, editing by Philomin Raj and music composed by Anirudh. The songs from the film, Pathala Pathala and Porkanda Singam, have already been lauded by film lovers and they are looking forward to performances of all lead actors in the film.
