Kapil Sharma is ‘all hearts’ as he shares a selfie with the legendary Rekha at Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's wedding reception

Yesterday, all the roads lead to just one destination- the wedding reception of Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare. All the who’s who from the field of entertainment, sports and politics had attended the event. One could also spot the ageless diva Rekha who was seen at her gracious best while dressed in a stunning saree. One needs to confess that; she was looking as elegant and spectacular as ever. Amongst the guests was also the ace comedian-actor Kapil Sharma, who had attended the event with his wife Ginni Chatrath.

Speaking of Kapil Sharma, it's not rocket science to know that, he simply adores and respects Rekha like everyone else. At every given opportunity, Kapil has always spoken about the greatness of Rekha’s talent. So, it was only natural that, when Kapil Sharma met Rekha at the function, it was nothing less than a fanboy moment for the former.

Kapil Sharma, then, took to social media and posted a selfie of him with Rekha. He captioned the same with three red heart emojis. On the other hand, Kapil Sharma’s wife Ginni Chatrath also took to social media and shared the photograph of hers along with her husband Kapil Sharma and Rekha.

As for the attire, while Rekha looked drop-dead gorgeous in her red coloured trademark Kanchipuram silk sari, Kapil Sharma looked dapper in his all-black suit. Ginni Chatrath, on the other hand, opted for a blue coloured dress which she had chosen to wear for the grand occasion. Ginni, on her part, posted the photograph on social media and captioned the same as, “Timeless beauty “REKHAJI” #rekhaji #respect #love”.

As for the grand wedding reception of Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare, there were many heavyweights who had attended the same. The guest list included Bollywood superstars like Saira Banu, Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Hema Malini, Sonali Bendre, Kartik Aaryan, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and others.

Besides them, there were also the political bigwigs like Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Raj Thackery with his wife. And from the sports fraternity, one spotted Sachin Tendulkar and others in the glittering event, which was hosted by Aamir Khan and his family. Besides them, there were also the Ambani family which included Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani.
