Karan Johar wishes his very own 'Brahmastra' Alia Bhatt on her birthday with a fiery poster

After unveiling the beautiful glimpses of Alia Bhatt as Isha in Brahmastra, producer Karan Johar took to his social media pages and shared a new poster. His post features the actor in a terrific look, giving an intense pose amid the fire. Alia is seen wearing a tank top and styling her hair in heavy curls. Along with the poster, KJo penned a heartfelt note on the occasion of the actor's birthday, as she turned 29 today.

The filmmaker's caption read, "My darling Alia, There is so much love that I feel for you while I am writing this, but also so much respect for your immense talent, your incredible growth as an artist, and your ability to be so real through all the beats of your life! 10 years ago, I didn’t know that one day I could proudly call you my very own Brahmastra, my weapon of love and of abundant joy."

Karan added, "Happy birthday, my darling. Shine bright always. Thank you for being YOU and for being the wind beneath the wings of this labour of love. I love you always and forever. "

Interestingly, it was back in 2012 when Alia made her debut as a leading lady in KJo's directorial, Student of the Year. Thus, the actor will be completing a decade as an actor. 

Talking about Brahmastra, the film features Ranbir Kapoor in the leading role as Shiva, along with Amitabh Bachchan. The Ayan Mukerji-directed fantasy drama is set to be a trilogy.

Brahmastra also has Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dimple Kapadia, and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles, while Shah Rukh Khan makes a special appearance.

After a long wait and multiple delays, the first part of the much-awaited film is set to hit the big screens on September 9, 2022.
